Visions of Bogotá
I don't always blog, I don't always take more than one photo at a time, and I don't always think about how things look to outsiders, but I occasionally look through my phone and realize I have captured several special aspects of my life here. I live in a wild, frenetic, exasperating, exciting, and fascinating city. These are my visions of Bogotá.
View from my friend Gerreit's balcony in Chapinero Alto during a wine party.
Sunset on my street in La Estrella.
Enjoying an arepa and coffee in between classes on a sunny day at Los Andes.
The beautiful Iglesia Nuestra Sra del Carmen in La Candelaria.
An old car in La Macarena.
A quiet afternoon on Parkway, a park close to my house in La Soledad.
A view of the city from Centro Memoria, the transmilenio station beside my house.
Waking up to the promise of a beautiful morning at Centro Memoria.
